Panarea Book Festival - La Cattura – I misteri di Matteo Messina Denaro e la mafia che cambia
The stunning island of Panarea hosts the first edition of the Panarea Book Festival, a cultural event promoted by the Fondazione Raya, in collaboration with Raya Hotel and Restaurant, the University of Messina, and the Chamber of Commerce of Messina.
Three evenings dedicated to literature, journalism, and current affairs will feature prominent figures from the Italian cultural scene, ready to present their latest works and engage in dialogues on important contemporary issues.
On Friday, June 20, writer, journalist, and screenwriter Camilla Costanzo will open the festival by presenting her book Tempo al tempo, in conversation with Angelica Furnari (Mondadori Bookstore).
On Thursday, July 10, crime fiction takes the stage with Salvo Toscano, who will present his novel La prossima vittima, in a stimulating exchange with Paola Sabella, Secretary General of the Chamber of Commerce of Messina.
On Tuesday, July 22, a special closing event with Maurizio De Lucia, Chief Prosecutor of Palermo, discussing the book La Cattura – I misteri di Matteo Messina Denaro e la mafia che cambia, co-written with Salvo Palazzolo. Joining him will be magistrate Emanuele Crescenti.
All events will take place at 6:00 PM and offer a unique opportunity to experience culture in one of the most enchanting settings of the Mediterranean.
