Not Just Fish – Reflections on a Future Marine Protected Area
On Monday, July 21 at 7:00 PM, on the terrace of Amaneï Salina, Pietro Lo Cascio will present "Not Just Fish", offering insights into the lesser-known animals inhabiting the seas of Salina and the Aeolian Islands — their often elusive, sometimes mysterious behaviors, and their conservation value — in light of the future establishment of the first Marine Protected Area (MPA) in the archipelago.
This event is part of the "Salina Isola Blu" project, promoted by Nesos, in collaboration with Blue Marine Foundation and Sicily Environment Fund, aimed at raising local community awareness for the important journey toward the creation of the Salina MPA.
