Eolie Pride 2025

The event is scheduled for Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 6:30 PM, in Piazza del Mercato in Lipari (next to the Post Office). The parade will move along Corso Vittorio Emanuele, Via 24 Maggio, and Via Umberto I, before returning to the starting square. Throughout the event, there will be voices, testimonies, and artistic performances.

Several speakers will take part during the demonstration. Laura Sebastio, psychologist and activist from Sat-Pink Verona and Padua, will address the topic of homo/lesbo/bi/transphobia, while Gianmaria Lenti, a social anthropologist, will reflect on identity, territory, and migration. Other participants include Dr. Giusy La Fauci, expert in hygiene and public health, Francesca Deidda, sexual educator and entrepreneur of MySexCare, and Chiara Brizzi, activist from Mamme Di Valentino, who will contribute a reflection on rainbow families.

Music and performance art will also take center stage. Andrea Licciardo, Aeolian singer-songwriter, will perform some of his most beloved songs. Grace Galanti, DJ and music selector, will offer her dual sonic identity: pop, commercial disco, and house-electro-dance. VICK, an emerging music artist blending electronic, indie, and alternative sounds, will be accompanied by guitar and cajón. Albert Mud, singer and guitarist of The Whistling Heads, will present a selection of dance, electronic, and trip-hop music. The evening will also feature El Fuego de Jerà, a performer with a vibrant LED show combining transformism, dance, and juggling.

EOLIE PRIDE is promoted by Magazzino di Mutuo Soccorso Eolie APS (ARCI), in collaboration with La Fucina di Efesto, ViviVulcano Pro Loco, Scuola in Mezzo al Mare di Stromboli, and Amaneï Salina, with the support of Arcigay Messina. It was born from the joint efforts of volunteers, associations, and citizens of the archipelago. The realization of the event was made possible thanks to the contribution of numerous local businesses and organizations that embraced the initiative, along with the support of a national fundraising campaign. The municipalities of the archipelago — Lipari, Santa Marina Salina, Malfa, and Leni — have chosen to support the initiative by granting symbolic free patronage.
