The Resurrection of Christ is celebrated in the Cathedral Basilica on the night before Easter Sunday, concluding with the Processione dell’Incontro, where the statues of the Risen Christ and Our Lady of Sorrows meet at Marina Corta.
This emotional moment culminates in fireworks and the joyful ringing of church bells.
