The rooms are carefully taken care of down to the smallest details, the wall colours, the pickle-stained furniture and majolica floors evoke a sensation of freshness and relax. It has a wide hall , a well stocked bar and large terraces where you can enjoy delicious aperitifs in a peaceful atmosphere and enjoy the striking panorama. Services: Swimming pool, internal restaurant “ La Lampara “ where you can taste typical dishes of Aeolian and Sicilian traditional cooking; panoramic breakfast room, cocktail-bar, room service, laundry, solarium, baby sitting, free internet point and free connection wi-fi , private parking, garage, free shuttle bus transfer service in arrival and departure, free scheduled shuttle bus from/to the centre . The hotel has a convention with an external restaurant, same property “Al Pescatore” located in the square near the sea named Marina Corta .

- Fantastic Family Holiday in Lipari
We travelled to Lipari where my father was born, so he could show his grandchildren his home town. Hotel Bougainville was the perfect location! From the moment we arrived the staff were increble. They were friendly, attentive and nothing was a problem for them. Every day they were the same, from reception, room attendants ( beautiful ladies), restaurant and bar, poolside and garden staff to the Hotel Bougainville Shuttle bus Chauffeur - always happy and helpful. The rooms were true Italian style and beautifully appointed. It was a pleasant walk to town and easily accessible to get a taxi if needed. The breakfast was most enjoyable and dinner did not disappoint. If you are wanting to relax and escape this is the place to go. There is nothing better than the incredible view from this resort. Thank you Teresa and all the crew at Hotel Bougainville for the best holiday our family has ever had. We will be back. Xxxx
- The family holiday of our dreams
This place is nothing short of sensational! I loved it from the time I arrived. Beautiful Italian style rooms & decor & the most magnificent view of the city & ocean The staff there are amazing, nothing was a problem for them . Our room was kept immaculate by the gorgeous cleaners that I thought were adorable. I'm a coffee freak & every morning & night they would come to me & say are you ready for your cappuccino . The gardens throughout & surrounding Hotel Bougainville are stunning, beautiful bougainvillea of all colours everywhere, fruit trees & others flowers with an abundance of colours. The pool & spa were wonderful & drinks laying by the pool was even better. Breakfast was my favourite thing , everything so beautiful & fresh . If you are looking for a peaceful, beautiful place to stay , look no further, my family stayed in many places on our trip & this place wins hands down ! I loved it & hope to return again soon xo
- A great hotel for a relaxing stay on Lipari
An extremely nice hotel with a swimming pool and terraces overlooking the bay. The rooms are well appointed and very tastefully decorated. The staff are all exceptionally friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast is also excellent. The hotel is in a quiet location on the northern outskirts of the town, which does mean that it is a little walk into the old town. However it does provide a shuttle service into the town centre and transfers to the ferry.

- Wonderful hotel and fantastic staff
We stayed for 6 nights at the Bougainville and we had a lot of really nice experiences. The staff always gave us perfect recommendations and we had a lovely room with a beautiful view over the sea and the city. The pool and the garden are perfect to relax, either alone or also with children. We hope to come back at that nice hotel and we highly recommend this hotel if you are coming to Lipari.
- Anniversary Trip
Excellent hotel. Lovely staff. Great food and service. What else can I say. Car service from the ferry, pool has food and drink service. The hotel grounds are beautiful with Rosemary hedges. Will definitely come back here.
