Situated within walking distance from the port of Rinella, it is also a perfect starting point for daily excursions to the other Aeolian Islands. Due to its location the hotel is also an ideal base for a number of outdoor activities including fishing, diving and snorkelling.

- Hotel L'Ariana is a grand old dame of Salina situated idyllically on the edge of the Mediterranean
We stayed here many years ago and returned because of our past experience. The first visit was in June so the hotel was busier then, and the restaurant open. In April, the season was just beginning so we didn't have the opportunity of eating on the restaurant. We did however, have a room on the balcony which was beyond ideal....
