Behind the Church of S. Pietro ( 10 min from the port ) you proceed toward the Nature Reserve of the Island and embark in the direction of Punta del Corvo ( 420 m a.s.l. ). The surface is uneven, with some stretches made entirely of stone, and often the way is partially overgrown with vegetation. Along the way you cross abandoned cultivated land bordered by dry stone walls and genuine Mediterranean maquis , dominated by Montpellier cistus and heater. ( ref.
