| The Church of San Bartolomeo is a small jewel housed in Stromboli and it is also the religious and civic center of Strombolian community. The church, dating back to the 18th -19th centuries ,is characterized by the red facade and a rich stucco decorations inside. Its construction was strongly desired by the islander , who built it with passion and sacrifice , and it was erected thanks to the donations of Sicilian emigrated to Australia, Argentina, Canada and United States. |
