Hotel description

The white structure of the Hotel in Salina, slightly curved and coloured by bougainvillea plants, opens up towards the sea, the bay of Malfa and the islands of Panarea and Stromboli. Located on a cliff just above the sea, the Hotel finds itself in one of the most panoramic positions of the island. Terraces and gardens surround the two floors of the Hotel, offering exceptional panorama from every point. The big solarium terrace just above the sea is surrounded only by the colours of the sea and the sky: during the day only sea and islands, during the night only stars and planets.

  • Beautiful hotel

We had a pleasant stay at hotels Punta Scario. Was our first time in Salina. The view from our room was amazing, with private veranda on the seafront. the staff is very nice and polite. Amazing breakfast, with local speciality such as pecorino cheese or fresh orange and lemon juice, and also a wide intercontinental choice, all the biscuits and cakes are made by the Hotel chef. We also enjoyed the fireworks from the panoramic terrace in the night of S. Lorenzo.

  • Magic!

This is a perfect island getaway. Not over-the-top fancy, but quiet, restful and lovely. The blue and white decor is reminiscent of Santorini. There are several quiet areas with tables and chairs on the premises, surrounded by flowers and gorgeous bushes, where you can sit and read. Breakfast is wonderful -- not overly abundant, but full of home baked goods, cheeses, meats and local vegetables and fruits on tables overlooking the sea. The English-speaking owner is super helpful. No need to take a car to Salina; the best thing to do is leave it in one of the parking lots on the mainland and rent a scooter once you reach the island. There are gorgeous drives along narrow roads that wind along steep cliffs, and lovely little areas where you can sip an Aperol Spritz on the road at sunset. The hotel does not serve dinner, but there are a number of small neighborhood restaurants where you can get great fresh fish and other courses for hardly any money. The rooms on the upper floor are supposed to be a bit larger and may have more sweeping views, but we stayed in Room 5 and loved it --- a balcony hanging over a cliff with crashing waves beneath, which made sleep easy. Definitely worth a week long stay all in all.

  • Beautiful place

The location is exceptional, very close to a nice beach. The room was spacious and nicely furnished (minimalist, white and light). The staff was very accommodating.

  • Well kept, friendly staff, and great views

Pleasant hotel in Malfa with about 20 rooms or so. Very friendly staff, although the person who speaks English is only there until lunch. The rooms are decent size, and have all the amenities you need. It is located on a cliff overlooking the Malfa port and beach. When you stand on the terrace, you have incredible views of the whole island. The hotel grounds themselves are also very well kept. One of the owners must be a landscaper, because it is very beautiful. Breakfast is served on the balcony overlooking the water. Really good selection for breakfast.
