Thanks to its white seabed , mainly composed of pumice sediments, this beach is one of the most suggestive of the Aeolian islands. The water is an intense turquoise color and hosts the buildings and docks once used for the transport of pumice. After the closure of the two companies that mined pumice in Lipari, now the purpose is to redevelop the area with hotels, mining park, pumice museum and the recovery of the famous white beach. |
