Recent excavations in the village of Capo Graziano, have revealed 25 oval huts, dating back to 3000 BC located on a promontory about 100 m above sea level. Inside the huts were found ceramics production of indigenous . Other ceramics of proto-Mycenaean style, discovered near the village of Capo Graziano, allow us to better understand how the village has evolved until 1430 BC, when probably, following a violent destruction it had finished to exist. On the highest point of Cape Graziano there is the ancient sacrificial altar of prehistoric peoples. |
