| On the north end of the island it is located the observatory of Punta Labronzo. The place is a strategic location to watch the volcano eruptions and possible lava flows down the Sciara del Fuoco ( the blackened lava scar running down Stromboli's northern flank). The observatory is easily reachable walking along the slopes of the volcano. From the Church of San Vincenzo, you go through the village of San Bartolo and then take the path that leads to the observatory. |
